Healthcare Admissions Director

Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions Director to join our team. This key leadership position is responsible for managing the admissions process, building referral relationships, and ensuring an exceptional experience for residents and families.

• Manage the admissions process from referral through admission
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and other referral sources
• Respond promptly to referral inquiries and coordinate admissions efficiently
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations for admission
• Collaborate closely with clinical leadership to evaluate referrals and ensure appropriate placement
• Meet with prospective residents and families to discuss services and admission requirements
• Conduct facility tours and provide exceptional customer service throughout the admissions process
• Support census development and quality payer mix goals
• Ensure all admissions documentation is completed accurately and timely

• Previous experience in healthcare admissions, case management, social services, business development, or a related healthcare role preferred
• Skilled in relationship building and customer service
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve goals
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and operational leadership teams
