Cashier

We are a busy retail store looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier you will be responsible for processing customer transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly manner and provide excellent customer service. Scan and process items accurately and efficiently. Accept cash, credit card and other forms of payment. Count money in cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain an organized checkout area including stocking bags, cleaning conveyor belts, etc. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding sales transactions. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred. Strong math skills and ability to handle cash accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. Location US.
