The CAO will be a key leader in academic programming, staff development, and student achievement, with a specific focus on empowering boys and young men of color. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and preparing students for success in post-secondary education, technical careers, and beyond, and must be committed to the core values of the organization, including people and relationships, community, self-determination, health and wellness, and liberatory education. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should have a minimum of three years of teaching or related in-school experience, with a proven track record in raising academic achievement in diverse student populations. The role requires strong leadership experience, particularly in school start-ups, restructuring, or educational innovation, and the ability to manage school schedules, budgets, and staff evaluations in alignment with the school's vision. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for empowering students, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration. A Master's degree in education or a related field is required, along with a Building Level Administrator certification or eligibility.
