Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 101-bed unit and patient ratios of approximately 4:1 for medical patients and up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient information throughout each visitoperate Baxter infusion pumps and GE monitoring equipment in accordance with unit protocols
• Deliver patient-centered care using AIDET communication standards, maintaining respectful interactions and keeping patient boards updated throughout each visit
• Float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed to meet departmental staffing requirements
• Collaborate with techs, cardiac monitoring unit staff, triage personnel, and unit clerks across all shifts to ensure seamless patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years of total nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, coach peers in real time, and adapt to all areas within an Emergency Department

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working within an HCA-affiliated facility
• Experience serving diverse, multicultural patient populations
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring units and ED behavioral health patient management
