Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Overview Join a skilled nursing facility in Lancaster, MA as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Use clinical expertise to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders for a diverse patient population. This role supports patient progress through evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities Impacting Patient Care: Provide direct patient care that facilitates improved communication, cognitive-communication skills, and safe swallowing. Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams to create individualized plans of care. Document progress according to facility and regulatory standards to support quality outcomes. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active Massachusetts SLP license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in skilled nursing facility settings. Experience with dysphagia management and use of instrumental assessments such as FEES or MBSS preferred. Experience with electronic medical records and interdisciplinary care planning preferred.
