We are seeking a reliable CDL A Driver to transport dry van freight primarily on both regional and long-haul routes. This role involves operating as a solo driver with a flexible day shift schedule, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport dry van freight safely and efficiently
- Plan routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery schedules
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness before and after trips
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during transport
- Manage time effectively to complete deliveries within designated schedules
- Maintain communication with dispatch and report any issues during transit
- Handle both regional and long-haul routes according to assignment
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Proficient in commercial driving and route planning
- Skilled in vehicle inspection and adherence to safety regulations
- Experienced with GPS navigation and time management
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pay grade varies based on experience ( $0.55-0.75)
