Senior Director-Real Estate

Prime Communications, L.P. is one of the largest AT&T authorized retailers in the United States, operating approximately 2,000 retail locations across 48 states. The company partners closely with AT&T on sales performance, compliance, customer experience, and store growth while maintaining a disciplined, data-driven approach to portfolio management and enterprise performance. ROLE SUMMARY The Senior Director of Real Estate will be a key member of the Real Estate team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Real Estate. This individual will help lead the company’s real estate, construction, and field-support activities, supporting portfolio strategy, lease negotiations, capital planning, vendor management, and cross-functional execution. The successful candidate will bring strong business judgment, financial acumen, relationship-building skills, intellectual curiosity, and an ownership mindset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the Vice President of Real Estate to establish priorities and drive execution. Support portfolio strategy, site selection, lease renewals, relocations, closures, and expansions. Lead or support lease negotiations, landlord discussions, amendments, and restructurings. Partner with Construction on new stores, remodels, relocations, budgets, schedules, and risks. Evaluate rent, triple-net expenses, capital needs, and impact on EBIT. Prepare business cases, financial analyses, presentations, and recommendations. Build strong relationships with AT&T, landlords, brokers, vendors, contractors, and internal leaders. Lead cross-functional initiatives across Real Estate, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Legal. Identify opportunities to improve cost, service, communication, accountability, and execution. Assume responsibility for selected teams, markets, vendors, or projects as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in real estate, construction, operations, finance, consulting, or a related field. Experience at the director, senior director, or comparable level. Experience leading teams, vendors, or complex cross-functional initiatives. Experience in a multi-unit, distributed, or field-based organization. Strong business and financial judgment. Knowledge of lease negotiations, capital planning, vendor management, and financial analysis. Ability to translate complex issues into clear recommendations. Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills. Sound judgment, discretion, curiosity, and follow-through. Willingness to travel as needed.
