First—Compassionate Acts Reflecting Excellence—in all aspects of the role.Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining team members to support timely, high-quality meal service.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Two-year culinary degree preferred.Minimum of three years of experience in baking, pastry preparation, salad preparation, or related food-service work required.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to follow standardized recipes, production sheets, and food-preparation procedures.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and safe operation of standard kitchen appliances and equipment.Ability to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced food-service environment.Strong organization, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Positive communication skills and the ability to work well with others.Southminster is open year-round, which will require availability to work evenings, some weekends, and holidays.
