Quick Facts Location: 312 9th Street Southwest, Waverly, IA 50677 Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: Ongoing / As Needed Shift: Varies, generally flexible days Hours per Week: Variable based on facility needs Employment Type: Locum / Temporary Licensure/Certifications: Valid Medical License in Iowa; Board Eligible or Certified in OB-GYN Experience: Prior hospitalist or OB experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $195.00 per hour Schedule: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Dedicated 24/7 support team throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide OB hospitalist coverage, including deliveries and OB triage Manage unassigned gynecological emergencies and routine GYN cases Support hospital staff with obstetric and gynecological patient needs Perform deliveries, including uncomplicated and complex cases (average 1-4 per shift) Ensure high-quality patient care for approximately 13+ patient encounters daily Document patient visits and procedures using hospital EMR system (system TBD) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent maternal and fetal care What You Need Valid Iowa medical license and current DEA registration Board eligibility or certification in OB-GYN Prior experience in hospital settings, OB deliveries preferred Ability to handle obstetric emergencies and perform deliveries Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Waverly, Iowa, that provides comprehensive maternal healthcare services.
