Part‑Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist – Silverdale/Poulsbo/Kingston Area APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. Job Summary Our independent contractors (ICs) are self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision as they complete quality exams while using their medical know‑how. Exams are performed on a mobile basis in the client’s home or office and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12‑lead EKGs. Contractors are required to follow all compliance and safety policies while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in gathering client information. Exams typically last anywhere from 15 minutes to just over an hour, depending on requirements. Hours Set your own schedule. Exams are available 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Many contractors have full‑time jobs and use this opportunity to earn additional income. We assist with scheduling so you can focus on performing medical exams. Job Details Reimbursement : You are reimbursed every two weeks by direct deposit for each exam you complete. Territory : Set your own territory by choosing the ZIP codes you will work within. Orientation : We provide a 3‑4 hour in‑person orientation to verify your skills and demonstrate the paperwork and website used by our ICs. Equipment : We may rent equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges. Use of your own equipment will be considered but is not guaranteed. Some items must be purchased: manual blood pressure cuff (large & extra large). Required items for exams: stethoscope, tape measure (soft fabric & metal), printer/paper/ink, scale (400 lb capacity), one box of extra gloves, one box of alcohol swabs, one box of band‑aid or Coban, one box of gauze. Qualifications Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience. Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection. Familiarity with tablets and computers. Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients or home health. EKG experience preferred, but not required. Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance.
