Regional Manager, Line MaintenanceBreeze is hiring- join us! The Regional Manager, Line Maintenance reports to the Director of Maintenance (DOM) with authority for directing all line maintenance activities and servicing of company aircraft at regional maintenance bases. The Manager is responsible for the scheduling and building of staffing models to execute the requirements of the Breeze Maintenance Inspection Program while ensuring maintenance personnel under his/her direction are trained and qualified to perform assigned tasks. Serves as the primary Technical Operations focal point for the assigned geographic region while supporting and coordinating daily activities between Maintenance Operations Control, IOCC, and Station Operations requiring effective communication skills and leadership. This position will be located in either the Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL area.Here's what you'll do:Direct regional line maintenance activities and servicing of company aircraftEnsure all work performed is compliant per the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM), company policies, procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's)Maintain a direct line of communication with MOC and Maintenance Planning to ensure all routine and non-routine work is accomplished per described scheduleEnsure MOC is updated and informed of aircraft status related to technical delays and Out-of-Service (OOS) timeEnsures all line maintenance facilities, aircraft ground support equipment, including tooling are well maintained and calibratedDevelop and continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure best practices and an elevated level of operational performanceDevelop and deliver Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports on operational performance and goalsSupport recruiting efforts to include interviews, candidate assessment, and participation in local hiring eventsTake a significant role in the development and training of Team Members to support engagement, growth, and performance including TechOps Committee groupsBuild, manage, and maintain capital and operating budgets with the DOMSupport the company CASS by assisting and implementing corrective actions to internal or FAA related auditsManage and support SMS related activities, including the promotion and reporting of safety related concerns and identification of hazardsFoster an environment where quality, safety, and compliance are everyone's concernPerform other duties as assigned by the DOMAchieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and ExcellenceHere's what you need to be successful:Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent educational achievementMust hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractionsTen years of Aviation Maintenance experience including at least five years of leadership with progressing responsibilitiesUnderstanding and working knowledge of FAA regulations including CFR 121Must have a valid driver's licenseMust have a valid passport with no travel restrictionsMust be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge in accordance with TSA requirementsMust be flexible and willing to work various shifts such as days, nights, weekends, and holidays if neededMust be willing to travel 40% of the timeMust be willing to work with other departments within the company as neededMust pass a DOT pre-employment drug testMust pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background checkMust have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English languagePreferred QualificationsTen years of CFR 121 air carrier line maintenance experienceFive years in leadership rolesExperience maintaining Embraer E-Jet and Airbus family aircraftExperience with maintenance planning, including familiarization with a Maintenance Information System such as TRAXDegree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or BusinessUnderstanding of Safety Management System (SMS) rulesSkills/TalentsSkills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Analytical skillset using tools such as Power BI and TableauExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenStrong presentation skills with the ability to communicate to LeadershipMust be able to manage high-stress situationsAbility to collaborate with fellow Team MembersAbility to multi-task easilyMust be fluent in EnglishExemplifies Breeze's safety culture, values, and missionPhysical Demands & Working ConditionsFrequently lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds (with assistance as needed)Climb ladders, work stands, and aircraft structures, and work at elevated heightsWork in confined spaces, awkward positions, and varying weather conditions on the ramp or in the hangarRegularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach for extended periodsFrequent use of hands and arms to operate tools and handle components, requiring manual dexterityAdequate vision to inspect closely and hearing to detect unusual sounds;
