divh2Restorative Aide/h2pEncore Village of Schaumburg is looking for a dedicated Restorative Aide to support residents in maintaining and improving their functional abilities./ph3Responsibilities:/h3p Performs restorative treatments under the direction of the Director of Nursing/pp Collaborates with nursing staff to ensure that residents are available for the restorative programs, when necessary, will assist the nursing staff with direct care./pp Documents all restorative activity performed in EMR. Completes and maintains documentation according to Rehabilitation Restorative program guidelines and facility policy./pp Reports and documents residents significant changes to assigned CNA, Nurse and Restorative Nurse./pp Updates and maintain quarterly restorative progress notes for the restorative nurse and rehab nurse./pp Consults with unit staff routinely to be aware of resident diagnosis, precautions, and contraindications to performance of various restorative treatments./pp Recognizes and treats emergency situations in accordance with facility emergency policies./pp Transports residents, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform treatment./pp Follows established procedures and safety guidelines pertaining to the care and use of equipment and supplies Gets training on new equipment prior to usage./pp Prepares, maintains, and cleans treatment areas in preparation for direct patient care. Reports any equipment that is need of repair to Director of Nursing./pp Recognizes the importance of providing Resident Centered Care./ph3Regulatory Compliance/h3p Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity/pp Reports all suspected, alleged, and/or witnessed verbal, physical, or sexual abuse immediately to supervisor./ph3Leadership/h3p Serves as a role model and instructor for C.N.A.s in demonstrating proper rehabilitation technique during delivery of resident care. Strives to develop a cohesive team with nursing staff./pp Able to clearly communicate and direct residents in performance of restorative program./pp Monitors CNA for compliance with restorative programs assigned to them. If problematic, reports Director of Nursing./ph3Continuous Improvement/h3p Ensures standard precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety, and sanitation practices and procedures are followed by co-workers./pp Participates in CrossBridge specific and organization wide Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
