SITE SUPERVISOR# SITE SUPERVISORHot JobStuart C Gildred Family YMCA - Santa Ynez, CA 93463## OverviewSalary Range$20.00 - $22.00 HourlyLevelExperiencedPosition TypeF/T and P/T AvailableJob ShiftAny## Description**BENEFITS THAT BENEFIT YOU*** FREE YMCA Family Gym Membership and Program Discounts* Education Assistance Program Up To $1,500 per year* YMCA Retirement Fund* Paid Sick Leave* Flexible Schedule**What does a Site Supervisor do?*** Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing childcare programs (Before-School, After-School, Summer Camp, and School Break Care) in accordance with guidelines from State of California Community Care Licensing or California Department of Education Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs* Supervise up to 14 children independently under the guidelines from State of California Community Care Licensing or 20 children in accordance with guidelines from California Department of Education Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs* If applicable, supervise an Assistant or Associate Teacher with up to 28 children under the guidelines from the State of California Community Care Licensing* Provide quality care and supervision to children (visual, proactive, interactive)* Provide a safe environment for all children to thrive* Guide behaviors using positive methods, keeping in mind each child’s individual needs* Carry out activities and lesson plans* Ensure the program is delivering Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) standards* Set up and cleanup of the program area including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, etc* Assist the Program Director in the planning and administration of the program* Assist in selecting, training, guiding, evaluating, and employee corrective actions for staff* Responsible for maintaining school relationships, including monthly meetings with administration* Meeting attendance, enrollment goals, and maintain financial controls of budgeted expenses* Meet program quality expectations as evident on surveys, observations, and audits* Ensure accurate enrollment and attendance procedures are followed**Our Commitment to Belonging**At the Channel Islands YMCA, we are committed to building bridges within our communities. We aspire to create spaces, experiences, and a culture where all people belong and feel connected.#CIYMCAHIGH## Qualifications* Must be at least 21 years old* High School Diploma or equivalent* 2 years’ experience working in a childcare setting* Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire* Complete all required Branch and Position specific trainings as required within two weeks of hire* Ability to obtain Criminal Record Clearance* Maintain a valid California driver’s license, active participation in the California DMV Pull Program, an acceptable driving record and approval status as determined by the Channel Islands YMCA and/or its insurance carrier* Health Screening Report and negative TB test required prior to first day of employmentCalifornia Community Care Licensing* Must possess a minimum of 12 units of Child Development or related field and 3 units in Administration.
