Build/Release Engineer-Dallas, TX

Build/Release Engineer Client offering an impressive work environment, and cutting edge technology stack, is seeking a Build/Release Engineer with strengths in MS Build and TFS. This could be a long term contract opportunity, starting with a 6 month assignment in the Dallas area. Duties will include: Installation and Configuration of MSBuild build Server, creating build agents and Build Controllers. Creating Build definition using Build template in TFS. Customizing MSBuild build templates to meet the project requirements. Using MSBuild for building projects. Team build installation and creating Build Agents. Creating Team Project setup for new projects. Automating build process. Experience in TFS Command line and Powershell for automation. Installation of MS Build extension pack and Team Foundation Power Tools. Customization of TFS build definitions to automate TFS build process. Customization of WorkItem templates. Experience in Forward and reverse merger between branches and resolved merge conflicts. Deployment support to all Testing and Production environments. Creating Customized Team Foundation builds using custom targets. Experience in branching strategy & supporting parallel development & deployment using different branches. Automation of Test Cases using MSBuild. Gated Checkin's and automated builds. Setting up Deployment & Migration logs for releases & data accuracy. Code Merge between different branches and resolving merge conflicts. Documentation of Build Process Automation. Working with Teams configuration and release management teams. SSDT/DB Projects Setup and Automation. Familiar with Nuget, and its repository (ProGet). TFS migration/update process (i.e. TFS2010 to TFS2015/ TFS2017). IIS/Windows application installation Octopus/SALT (SALTSTACK) Cloud Publishes C# and SQL exposure. Georgia IT Inc
