Associate Immigration Attorney

Summary of Position As an Associate Immigration Attorney, you will act as a mentor to the paralegals within your department, triage cases, and manage caseloads. You will also be tasked with keeping up to date on relevant rules, regulations and requirements related to your department's practice area. You will assist with drafting, reviewing, and revising documents including but not limited to motions and pleadings. You will perform complex, detailed, and timely research, investigation, and legal documentation, correspondence, and or reporting. You will be expected to make court appearances when necessary. You will have a team spirit and, overall, be client minded. To be successful in this role, you should have: Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills. Analytical skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Flexible working hours to solidify positive relationships. Exceptional multitasking abilities. Self-motivated and detail centered. Comfort working under pressure. Leadership, management, mentoring experience. Focused on continued growth, goals, and achievements. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. License to practice law. Required skills include: Desire to be in the courtroom One to three years of Immigration experience Preferred skills include: Fluency in Spanish and English (must read, write, and speak both languages).
