You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of tire services and inventory levels. Additionally, you will collaborate with the engineering team to contribute to ongoing improvement projects in the tire room. Your schedule will be on the 1st Shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. This consistent schedule allows for work-life balance and predictable hours. You will need to operate motor vehicles, including commercial trucks and forklifts, after receiving on-site training. The role demands physical strength to handle wheel assemblies of all sizes and weights, including tires weighing up to 487 lbs. A solid grasp of tire and wheel assembly design, effective communication skills, basic computer knowledge, independence in work, attention to detail, strong time management, manual dexterity, and precision control are essential for success in this position. These requirements may require on-site training furnished by the Client.Must have the physical and mental agility to handle all sizes and weights of wheel assemblies and to be able to handle tools required to mount and dismount wheel assemblies safely.Ability to push and pull heavier tires with equipment (i.e. tractor-trailer commercial tires weighing up to 487 lbs.).Must have a solid technical understanding of tire and wheel assembly design and construction.Should possess strong communication skills.Be proficient in the basic use of computers.Must be able to work independently with little supervision.Be detail-oriented and manage time well.Manual dexterity and control precision.Make your moveSo, what do you think?
