Record Center Specialist (Warehouse Material Handler)

Indianapolis, IN (Churchman Bypass)
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $17/hr (Temp) → $19–$21/hr upon hire + Union Benefits & Pension
Start Date: June 5, 2026
Duration: 3 Months (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)

About the Role

SkySource Solutions is hiring 4 hardworking and dependable Record Center Specialists to join our warehouse team in Indianapolis. This is a  hands-on, physical role ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.

There is  strong potential for permanent hire , where you’ll gain access to  union benefits and a pension plan .

Key Responsibilities

• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes
• Process orders including files, books, binders, and other materials
• lifting boxes weighing 20-40 pounds
• repetitive lifting
• lifting anywhere
• Operate handheld scanners and internal tracking systems
• Load/unload pallets and trucks manually and with equipment
• Safely operate hand carts and pallet jacks
• Read labels and accurately track inventory
• Work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry 10–100 lbs regularly without assistance
• Frequent  kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Climb ladders and work at varying heights
• Push/pull carts and materials across different surfaces

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English
• Comfortable working independently and in a physical environment
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred (not required)

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 9-hour shifts (includes:
• 30-minute lunch
• Two 15-minute breaks)

Safety Requirements

• Protective footwear required
• Must meet ASTM F2413-11 safety toe standards
• Slip-resistant rating: “Better” or “Best”
