Safety Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, the full-time Safety Specialist will administer safety policies, conduct training, and perform site inspections, with the flexibility to work remotely from select states. Key responsibilities Ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations across all worksites Delivers safety training programs for managers and supervisors, focusing on accident prevention and investigation Conducts site inspections and investigates accidents to recommend hazard abatement measures and maintain safety records Required qualifications Associate's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training required Experience with safety program management in cable telecommunications, commercial driving, or construction industries Valid driver's license with a good driving record Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
