Senior Manager, External Reporting

Overview We are seeking a Senior Manager, External Reporting, to join our Accounting and External Reporting team. This role leads the preparation and filing of SEC reports and managing compensation accounting, including stock-based compensation.The Senior Manager will partner closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant external reporting. This is a hands-on role suited for a detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and works closely with Legal, Tax, Treasury, Finance, and Human Resources.This position is hybrid and will be primarily located in Cambridge, MA.ResponsibilitiesLead preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), including financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&AManage the external reporting calendar and coordinate cross-functional inputs to meet deadlinesSupport quarterly earnings releases, investor decks, and other external communicationsAssist with proxy statement preparation, including all calculations presented in the Compensation Discussion & Analysis disclosuresSupport technical accounting research for significant or non-routine transactionsOversee compensation accounting, including stock-based compensation, incentive programs, and payroll accrualsDevelop and maintain appropriate internal controls as business process owner, with documentation supporting Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) complianceIdentify and drive process improvements, including automation and workflow enhancementsPartner with external auditors and support preparation of disclosure and audit committee presentationsCollaborate with Accounting, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Finance, and HR to ensure accurate disclosuresLead, mentor, and develop team membersSupport special projects and other external reporting initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting preferredCPA required7+ years of experience in public accounting and/or industryStrong expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX complianceGlobal clinical and commercial biotech experience preferredSAP experience preferredProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrates sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information#LI-MH1 #LI-HybridU.S. Pay Range$139,400.00 - $188,600.00The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
