Job Title: General Production Worker – PM Shift Job Description

This role supports a modern bio-solutions production facility by performing a variety of hands-on tasks that keep manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The General Production Worker assists machine operators, handles raw materials, performs manual cleaning during product changeovers, and accurately documents production activities while adhering to chemical safety and sanitation standards.

• Manually clean production machines and equipment during product changeovers to ensure proper sanitation and readiness for the next run.
• Lift and load bags of raw materials weighing up to 50 pounds into hoppers and other equipment as needed.
• Assist machine operators with setting up, running, and monitoring various production machines.
• Learn and consistently follow GMP requirements, including hygiene, documentation, and safety procedures.
• Follow chemical safety practices when handling sanitation chemicals and other materials used in production.
• Perform mixing and blending of powders or liquids according to established procedures and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, including recording relevant data and completing required forms.
• Support general production and labor tasks across the facility to keep operations running smoothly.
• Observe equipment during operation and report any issues or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility standards.

• At least 2+ years of general production experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• At least 1+ years of experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience with general production, machine operation, and machine operating tasks.
• Knowledge of GMP, sanitation practices, and safe handling of chemicals used for sanitation.
• Experience with mixing and blending powders or liquids in a production setting.
• Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions and complete documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to understand and support machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Comfort working in a moderate-paced production environment with occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

• Previous experience assisting machine operators in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with documentation of production runs and basic recordkeeping.
• Experience working with climate-controlled manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow detailed safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

This is a PM shift position with hours from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on a 2-2-3 schedule, providing a consistent and predictable work pattern. The facility is clean and climate-controlled, with a low-key atmosphere, no strong smells, and a moderate pace of work. Team members occasionally enter a deep freezer area at approximately -55 degrees Celsius as part of their duties. The role follows strict GMP guidelines, requiring hair nets, beard nets (as applicable), smocks, steel-toe footwear, gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses as standard attire. Production technologies include mixing and blending equipment, hoppers for raw materials, and various automated machines that require careful operation and sanitation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Milwaukee,WI.
