Role Overview
This is a new role within the Test Operations group to support internal engineering teams.
The position primarily acts as a front-line help desk for incoming engineering requests.
Serve as the first point of contact for engineers needing support.
Monitor incoming tickets in Unity (current system) and eventually Salesforce (transitioning soon).
Dispatch the correct technicians or equipment engineers based on ticket type.
Be physically present on the test floor to assist engineers as they walk up for support.
Perform data entry, track data via Excel, and help identify issues through basic reporting.
Rarely assist with lifting tasks (e.g., load boards), but technical lifting is not a core function. RESPONSIBILITIES
• • Monitoring Client's equipment assistance / equipment down software tracking system and dispatch personnel as needed.
• Work closely with Client's internal customers in the Test, Product and Equipment teams to ensure requests for setup are properly completed and the customer is notified in a timely manner.
• Work closely with our test operations equipment engineers and setup techs to dispatch relevant personnel to diagnose and repair customer reported down systems
• Work cohesively with other team members and assist in achieving test objectives and on-time goals.
• Be proactive in identifying issues and resolving them quickly to satisfy productions objectives and customer needs.
• Ensure operational documents and quantity reports are accurate, complete and timely for each operation.
• Interact closely with all personnel to listen to concern or issues and work with test operations management towards driving to continuous improvement withing test operations. Requirement: QUALIFICATIONS
• • Certification from a qualified vocational/technical school or 3 years of equivalent experience in semiconductor test operations and has developed specialized knowledge and skills in this area.
• Familiar with semiconductor test floor operations
• Experience working closely with internal and external customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Team focused and can work with little or no supervision interacts with peers and internal support personnel to coordinate work.
• Hands-on skills with data entry systems.
• Good Excel skills.
• Good communication (verbal, email and written) skills.
• 100% manufacturing environment Must be able to meet shift schedule.
• Able to push, pull and/or lift 30 lbs equipment/package parts.
• This is an hourly position that requires flexibility to work additional hours if necessary to complete critical goals
• Common knowledge in basic trouble shooting skills on test floor equipment is a plus as it will aid in their job duties and communication to customers. Preferred/Plus:
• Semiconductor Test floor experience.
• Experience working on the following equipment Testers: Advantest 93K, Teradyne Uflex, Handlers: Hontech, SeikoEpson, Chroma, Probers: TEL, Semics Key Skills Required
Must-Haves
Test floor experience (operator, technician, or similar).
Must understand basic test floor equipment:
Testers
Handlers
Probers
Strong customer service / people-facing skills.
Must be able to communicate calmly with internal customers (engineers), especially when systems are down. Nice-to-Haves
Experience with ticketing tools:
Unity, Salesforce, ServiceNow, PlanOn, or similar.
Strong data entry accuracy and Excel proficiency. Not Required
Deep technical knowledge of testers (e.g., troubleshooting continuity failures).
They only need to know what the equipment is, not how to repair it.
Prior experience with Client's version of Salesforce (training will be provided). Benefits: Benefits
