Overview

We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join our Otolaryngology clinic located in Seattle, WA. This position offers a temporary-to-hire opportunity for local clinicians who are willing to transition to a permanent role at the end of the contract period, contingent on performance.

Schedule

Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
No weekends, holidays, or on-call duties required

Position Requirements

Must be open to a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
Preferred qualifications: Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C), however, Medical Assistant Registration (MA-R) will also be considered.
Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant in an adult outpatient setting; otolaryngology experience is preferred.
First-time applicants are welcome.

Role Responsibilities

Work in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Room patients and conduct necessary clinical procedures such as obtaining vital signs and recording medical histories, allergies, and medications.
Perform autoclaving and high-level disinfecting as part of the role.
Coordinate patient care including follow-up phone calls and insurance verification.
