Network Support Engineer

Configure, monitor, and maintain TAOps site network infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues. Respond to outages and ensure rapid restoration of service. Work with a geographically distributed cross-functional team to design, implement, and support TA network operations. Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies. Document all network changes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, routing, switching, and DNS
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Exposure to network design, network infrastructure installations/upgrades and fault finding
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting BGP routing protocols
• Experience with BGP Traffic Engineering
• Exposure to Carrier/NSP grade routers - Juniper MX, Cisco CSR, NCS, Arista and SDN
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 Networks
• Understanding of Data Security and encryption solutions - PKI/IPSec is desirable
• Experience managing Access Control Lists
• Experience configuring equipment including switches and 802.1q VLANS
• Troubleshooting skills across Layers 1 - 7
• Familiarity with Cloud Network Architecture, deployment and Operations
• Understanding of virtualisation products and Network automation
• Excellent understanding of switched network implementation and best practices
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux command line
• Effective Communication and Influencing
• Experience with changing and Improving network designs
• Problem-solving skills and can-do thinking
• Managing a Quality Service with little or no supervision

Mandatory Skills: Cloud Network Admin. Experience: 5-8 Years . The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
