Associate Financial Advisor

Summit Wealth Strategies is seeking an experienced, fully licensed Associate Financial Advisor to join our growing retirement planning team. This role is designed for an advisor who enjoys financial planning, working directly with clients, and being part of a structured advisory process—but does not want to spend their career prospecting, cold calling, or building a book of business from scratch. Our firm generates the prospects. Your focus is helping deliver an exceptional planning and client experience. What You'll Do Lead initial prospect meetings to understand the client's financial situation, retirement goals, income needs, concerns, and priorities Work alongside our Lead Advisor to develop comprehensive retirement income strategies Attend strategy and recommendation meetings and help guide prospects through the planning process Take ownership of the relationship once a prospect becomes a client Lead implementation and onboarding of new clients Conduct ongoing client review meetings and serve as a primary relationship manager Prepare for meetings by reviewing financial plans, investments, income strategies, Social Security, taxes, and other retirement considerations Coordinate with our operations team on account openings, transfers, paperwork, and client service Maintain accurate client information, tasks, and workflows within Salesforce Provide proactive communication and high-level service to existing clients Who We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory Life, Health & Disability Insurance License Strong understanding of investments and retirement planning CFP®, RICP®, or progress toward an advanced planning designation preferred Comfortable leading client meetings and discussing complex financial concepts in a clear, understandable way Highly organized and able to manage multiple client relationships and priorities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with a high standard for follow-through Comfortable working within a team-based advisory model Interested in developing into a high-level retirement advisor rather than primarily focusing on business development About Summit Wealth Strategies Summit Wealth Strategies is a retirement-focused wealth management firm serving clients across the country.
