Details Radiology department setting performing both CT and general radiographic imaging 3x12 hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM 36 hours per week Requirements ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (R) required BLS certification required State license required for KY or IN (can be obtained after offer); license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience in both CT scanning and general radiology Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques Familiarity with image quality standards, infection control, and quality control protocols Additional Information Verify exam orders and assess appropriateness based on patient data and developmental considerations Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure optimal image quality Operate imaging and computer equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine need for additional imaging Apply radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff Educate patients about procedures in an age-appropriate manner Maintain infection control and quality control standards throughout all procedures May supervise and train students during clinical rotations American Traveler Job ID P-750646.
