About the Role:
Adjust Mental Health LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Fishers, IN. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients navigating mental health challenges while working alongside a supportive clinical team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist mental health providers with patient intake, rooming, and clinical documentation
• Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and behavioral health information
• Support care coordination and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Manage scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations for psychiatric services
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide a calm, welcoming environment for patients experiencing mental health concerns

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
• Prior experience in a medical, behavioral health, or psychiatric setting is a plus
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical office workflows
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive mental health information with discretion
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
