About Corewell Health Grosse Pointe Hospital Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280‑bed acute care campus in Grosse Pointe. Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours and acquired by Beaumont Health System in 2007, it provides medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric, and critical care services. In March 2012 the Cotton Family Birth Center was designated a Baby‑Friendly® birth center. The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center offers advanced hybrid surgical suites. Cardiac Ultrasound Position This role requires a cardiac ultrasound credential (RDCS, ACS, or RCS) and involves performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations, including two‑dimensional imaging, spectral and color flow Doppler, m‑mode, transesophageal, exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms, and saline/left ventricular opacification studies on adult patients. The individual will train medical personnel in technique and cardiac pathology and may mentor other ultrasonographers and students. Qualifications Graduate of a Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent. Registered by ARDMS or registry eligible; paid at trainee rate for up to 1 year. If unregistered, obtain at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) within 1 year from hire; additional registry within 2 years. If registered at hire, obtain additional registry within 1 year. Required RDCS or CCI status (both parts of exam). CRT‑Vascular Tech‑ARDMS within 1 year for Vascular Department. Basic Life Support Certification at hire. Benefits Comprehensive benefits package.
