In this unique role, you'll provide vital support to a student requiring frequent tracheostomy suctioning and contribute to their safety and well-being throughout the school day including bus transportation. You'll coordinate directly with the student's family and serve as their dedicated nurse for the duration of the contract, with guidance from school support staff as needed.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• An active RN or LPN license in Minnesota is required
• Experience or formal training in special needs nursing and tracheostomy care
• Strong clinical assessment abilities, with a calm and compassionate approach
• Comfortable working independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to student privacy, professionalism, and family collaboration
• Ability to provide medical care onboard school transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to a student with tracheostomy, including frequent suctioning
• Ensure transportation safety by accompanying the student on the bus each day
• Maintain clear and accurate medical documentation for student care
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to foster an inclusive educational environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $58.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
