Work Location & Hours Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital, 811 Wright St, Arlington, TX 76012. Full‑time, 12‑hour shifts including weekends and holidays (7:00am – 7:00pm). CV ICU Highlights Robust Unit Based Council and engaged leadership team. 47‑bed facility including a 20‑bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27‑bed Cardiac Telemetry unit. Accredited for Chest Pain through The Joint Commission. AHA's Gold Plus award for five years in a row & Beacon Award Silver level through AACN. 5‑star rating through CMS. Specialization in CABG, Valve surgeries, TAVR, Impella, IABP, Lung procedures, general cardiac including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, AMI, post‑catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and device implantation. Here’s What You Need Associate’s Degree Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred). Nursing Diploma also accepted. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire. One year of RN experience required. BCLS required upon hire (expiration > 3 months preferred). What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process. Assesses the patient. Plans the care of the patient. Intervenes as appropriate. Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions. Incorporates age‑specific safety and infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others’ need for information. Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and during expediting out‑of‑hospital transfers.
