RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 56-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess general Med/Surg Telemetry patients with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6 on nights
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Fulfill call requirements of 2 twelve-hour call shifts per 13-week contract
• Complete all required education modules through the facility LMS

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Strong team player with a collaborative, accountable, and hardworking approach to patient care
