Responsibilities
  • Provide routine nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, following care plans and physician orders
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and observe for adverse reactions
  • Monitor residents’ conditions, vital signs, and changes in health status; report updates to the supervising clinician
  • Document care provided, assessments, and interventions in the resident’s chart
  • Support activities of daily living and promote resident safety, comfort, and dignity
  • Collaborate with licensed staff and the interdisciplinary team to meet individualized resident goals
Requirements
  • Active North Carolina LPN license or compact-state LPN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1+ year of geriatric/LTC LPN experience
  • Ability to work in a long-term care environment
  • Education: successful completion of an LPN program
