Dearborn West Dental   is looking for a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator with the right personality! The ideal candidate must be willing to work hard to gain trust, maintain top quality customer service and have an interest in creating lifelong patient relationships. We are looking for someone to bring fresh ideas to the office that will benefit both patients and staff.

You must have prior "Dental Experience" in order to apply.

The role of the Treatment Coordinator is to be a liaison for both doctor and patient to prioritize prescribed treatment and overall oral health goals. This position is part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and an occasional Friday as needed. Start time is 8:30am- 5:30pm 

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Outline stages of treatment to allow patients to fully understand and accept necessary dental treatments in a timely matter.
• Work alongside patients to create payment plans or apply for alternative financial options (outside sources or in-house options)
• Process payments and understanding insurance verification/EOB 
• Help maintain a full and productive schedule that benefits both patients and doctors.
• Provide excellent customer service via phone/email/face-to-face
• Maintain confidentiality of all personal, financial and office matters
• Handle difficult conversations with compassion and respect
• Provide general office and clerical support to our dental office.

Requirements:

• A positive and energetic deposition to help motivate
• Attention to detail and have strong organizational skills
• Be able to multi-task accordingly and under pressure
• Excellent in person and telephone etiquette
• Polite and calm demeanor when handling a conflict
• Strong leadership skills
• Must be able to work independently and as an effective team member
• Previous knowledge of Dental Software is a BONUS or proficiency in computer knowledge.
• Must have dependable transportation and a good attendance record
• Knowledge of Dental Insurance and Billing or Knowledge of Medical Billing and Insurance is required.
