Health Care Of Counsel - Washington, DC

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a sophisticated attorney with no less than 10 years of experience to join our Washington, DC office as an Of Counsel in our national Health Care Practice Group. Responsibilities Advising health care industry clients on federal and state health care regulatory matters, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, compliance matters, and fraud and abuse considerations. Counseling clients in connection with government investigations, audits and complex regulatory questions. Advising telehealth and digital health companies on regulatory strategy, corporate structure, and the development and expansion of virtual care platforms. Providing practical, business‑oriented advice and working directly with clients on complex and evolving industry issues. Drafting and analytical tasks, managing complex matters independently, and mentoring junior attorneys. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in health care regulatory matters. Substantial experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, compliance, fraud and abuse, and government investigations and audits. Experience with telehealth and digital health companies preferred. J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school, in good standing and an active member of the District of Columbia Bar. Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and communication skills. Ability to manage complex matters independently and mentor junior attorneys. Salary & Benefits In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary for this position is $450,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
