Registered Nurse RN FT Nights Medical Oncology

*Minimum Qualifications*
* *Education: *Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred.
* *Licensure: *Current and valid Connecticut RN license.
* *Experience: *Minimum of 1 year in an acute inpatient setting.
* *Certifications: *BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
*Work Schedule*:
*Full-time 36 hours, Night*
* *12-hour shifts- 7p to 7:30a*
* *Schedule Weekend & Holidays are required.*
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Patient Monitoring:* Continuously assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document clinical progress.
* *Medication Administration:* Deliver oncology-specific treatments with attention to accurate dosing, monitoring, and documentation.
* *Patient & Family Education:* Provide clear, empathetic education on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care strategies.
* *Interdisciplinary Collaboration:* Partner with physicians and healthcare teams to monitor neurological status, cognitive function, motor skills, and sensory responses.
