Automotive Mechanic Technician II - $1,500 New Hire Tool Bonus

Overview

Auto Maintenance Technician II – Mid‑level vehicle maintenance and repair technician at Manheim, a Cox Automotive company. Must work onsite at the specified location, Tuesday‑Friday, 10‑hour shifts (4 days per week). Pay range $22.02–$33.08 per hour, plus a $1,500 new hire tool bonus and potential incentive programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly skilled maintenance and repairs for all vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics for brake components, tires, suspension, drivability, charging, starting, AC, OBDII, electrical systems and execute complete repairs.
• Complete mechanical inspections including required measurements of interior/exterior components, engine, drive line, and under‑hood components, and document deficiencies.
• Comply with procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
• Fit new vehicles with necessary equipment and utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.
• Execute OEM recalls as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; safe driving required.
• Ability to operate standard, automatic, and electric vehicles (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
