School Physical Therapist

Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist Licensure for Mississippi is required Experience working with children or adolescents is preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities to coordinate with educational staff, families, and other service providers Adaptability and creativity in tailoring interventions for diverse learning and developmental needs Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy services to students from PreK through 12th grade, addressing a range of physical and developmental challenges Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student's IEP goals Track progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed to maximize student success Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service professionals to foster an inclusive and accessible school environment Participate in IEP meetings, deliver ongoing staff education, and support students participation in school activities This is a full-time, five-days-per-week contract position starting ASAP, with coverage needed through May 26, 2027.
