Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
• Capacity to travel between multiple campus locations as required
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to a caseload of 8 students in accordance with IEP goals
• Travel weekly to Phoenix (2 students), Sun City West (1 student), Queen Creek (4 students), and Goodyear MS/HS (1 student) campuses
• Deliver approximately 415 minutes of direct service per month, with billable hours averaging around 5 hours per week (including direct services, travel, and documentation)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create optimal therapy plans and support student progress
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation while tracking student milestones
• Consult with school staff on adaptations and supports for mobility, access, and participation in daily activities
