Description:
This position involves working in an acute psychiatric unit.
The psychiatrist will manage patient encounters primarily involving inpatient care.
The expected patient load is approximately 15 patients per shift.
Therapeutic modalities may be used but specific therapy techniques are not required.
There are no requirements for certifications in BLS, ACLS, or other specified certifications.
The facility does not support long-term psychiatric facilities or residential programs.
Knowledge of involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application is not necessary.
Familiarity with various psychiatric disorders is not required for this role.
Candidates should be prepared to engage in pharmacotherapy if needed.
The estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 21 days.
