Production Support Engineer (Informatica/DataStage)Genesis10 is currently seeking a Production Support Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a core technology platform, including Informatica and DataStage. The successful candidate will identify and resolve production issues, manage incident tickets, and communicate effectively with development and internal business operations teams to ensure system stability and performance.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end maintenance for all production services related to the technology platformActively engage and lead production support issues and incidents, taking ownership of escalations for troubleshooting, analysis, and resolutionEnsure production and performance SLAs are met and escalate issues as neededPerform analytical, technical, and administrative work in planning, installing, and supporting new and existing equipment and softwareIdentify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, maintaining metrics to drive analysisCreate and enhance administrative, operational, and technical policies and proceduresServe as an escalation point between business areas and internal management for moderately complex problemsSupport an on-call rotation for off-hours and weekend supportRequirements:5+ years of relevant IT experience (Production Support, ITIL, Release Support, Technical Implementations, or equivalent)Proven knowledge in Informatica and/or DataStageStrong operating system knowledge in Unix and Windows, including strong scripting skillsExperience with Oracle, DB2, and PL/SQL query performance tuningKnowledge of event-driven and schedule-driven batch processesExperience handling various production support roles (L1/L2/L3) and using monitoring/scheduling toolsExperience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and identifying mitigations/risksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired Skills:SplunkDynatraceKafkaPythonPay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
