Safety Specialist

A leading proppant and logistics company operating in the Pennsylvania area is looking for a Safety Specialist to join their team. Based near Washington, PA - you would be responsible for providing safety leadership & support throughout the region. The Role: Travel frequently across the northeast to promote a proactive safety culture for job site locations, with a heavy focus on compliance & employee engagement. Undertake safety inspections, incident investigations, and audits as deemed necessary. Lead safety meetings and site-specific safety training. Build relationships with staff & leadership as a support to operational excellence. Interface effectively & professionally with customers. Build/present PowerPoints and write/edit corporate safety policies. The Candidate: Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related discipline is required. Able to travel frequently for this position (primarily across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia). Possess 2+ years of hands-on safety experience within either a proppant production, oil field services or similar environment. Strong communicator who is able to build relationships with operational staff & leadership. Local to the Washington, PA area.
