Eden Health Care is looking to hire for a Weekend Admissions Coordinator position.
Responsibilities: to place admissions for 7 Nursing Homes during weekend hours, Friday 5pm- Sunday evening.
- Will oversee all admissions to facility
- Build and form partnerships with referral sources
- answer all referrals timely and facilitate admissions off hours to the Nursing Homes
- use facility email to communicate to weekend staff and management team
- verify insurance when needed
- upload appropriate admission documents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Long Term Care
- Strong ability to work independently
- Preferred experience with MediTech, AllScripts and insurance portals preferred
- Ability to build rapport with clients
Requirements
- Previous admissions experience
- Valid drivers license
- High school diploma/GED required
- Must possess excellent communication skills
