About the Position

Anesthesiologist

Location: New York

Schedule: Full time coverage with weekday and weekend pager call

Shift length: 8 hour shifts with occasional extension up to 10 hours when cases run late

Openings: 2

Position Overview

• Provide anesthesia services for general and orthopedic cases
• Medical direction and supervision of CRNAs in a care team model
• On call shifts may include doing own cases as needed
• Pre anesthesia evaluation, intraoperative management, and post anesthesia care

Clinical Environment

• Anesthesia rooms: 4
• MD to CRNA ratio approximately 1 to 4
• Charting systems include Epic and iPro

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with anesthesia residency training
• Board certification in Anesthesiology (or equivalent documented eligibility if accepted by the site)
• Active, unrestricted New York license
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify
