Facility: Southeast Health (Forbes Best-In-State Employer, 4 years running)

Unit: 42-bed Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry

Shift: 36 or 48 hrs/week (block scheduling available; EOW required)

Contract Length: 13 weeks (ends on Tuesday)

Patient Ratio: 1:6 (high acuity)

Experience Required: 1-2 years (must be strong with high-acuity patients)

Dysrhythmias experience required

Cardiac drips required (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Licensure: Active AL or compact license (no pending; must be in good standing)

Additional Info:

• EMR: Epic
• Compliance due 1 week prior to start
• Flu & COVID vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Scrubs: All navy or navy bottoms/white top
• Policies:
• RTO: 3-5 days preferred; 7 days max per 13 weeks
• Local radius: 90 miles (no locals)
• Former perm staff ineligible for 10 years

Submittal Details:

• Active Alabama RN license required at time of submission
• Permanent address must be included with submission
• Candidates must have experience working in large healthcare facilities
• Previous travel experience required; however, highly experienced candidates may still be considered on a case-by-case basis
• This is a Do Not Call facility
• Mile radius rule applies: traveler’s permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility
• Local candidates will not be accepted
• Return Traveler & Extension Policy: Former permanent staff are not eligible for travel roles for 10 years following separation
• After completing 2 consecutive contracts, travelers must take a 6-month break before returning
• Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Modules: Pre-start modules required
• Modules are non-billable
• 8+ hours of module time is not included in the bill rate
