Weekend CNA

Role Overview This position is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing home care services to patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as instructed by healthcare professionals. Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to ensure patient safety and comfort. Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs. Offer companionship and engage clients in activities tailored to their interests. Perform light housekeeping and maintain accurate records of care provided. Observe and report changes in the patient's physical or psychosocial condition promptly. Follow the client's care plan closely, including documentation via EVV app and time sheets. Ensure confidentiality, respect patient rights, and uphold safety standards at all times. Respond to client needs with dependability and professionalism, supporting independence as appropriate. Qualifications & Skills Current certification with DFS. High school diploma or GED preferred. Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following instructions. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending. Sympathetic attitude toward patient care and understanding of diverse family environments. Additional Details The role involves travel within designated areas, requires physical stamina, and does not guarantee a specific caseload or hours.
