Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview:RCR Project Managers have the responsibility to manage a range of functions necessary to obtain and successfully execute reconstruction projects. PMs work closely with residential and commercial owners after a loss that has caused damage to their property. They are responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, material suppliers, and RCR employees involved in mitigation and reconstruction services. While following the life of the project, the Project Managers are also in charge of scheduling, budgeting and financial reporting, safety compliance, and quality control.Responsibilities and Duties:Establish safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to all company protocol, project and safety policies, OSHA regulations and accounting proceduresResponsible for running multiple construction projects at a time, from start to finishCreate a project schedule and timelineEnsure project work meets the highest standards of workmanshipConfirm all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of workIf permits and licenses are required, communicate with Office Admins to scheduleVerify all subcontractors are working under a proper subcontract agreement and have up to date W9 and COISelect and schedule all subcontractors and vendorsCoordinate purchase of construction materials necessary to complete the project to adhere to budgets based on RCR expectationsProperly project, record, and maintain all project costs on budget worksheetsMeet or improve upon revenue and profit margin goalsCreate work orders for subcontractors and manage costs throughout the life of the projectCommunicate with the Estimator regarding change orders and/or revisions to the original estimateEnsure project documents are complete, current, and filed appropriatelyEnsure job files have proper-signed contracts and required formsKeep customers and insurance adjusters up to date on all project activitiesUpdate all job management software in a timely mannerAttend Work in Progress (WIP) sessions as requested to discuss the status of all projectsMaintain positive customer relationships through consistent communication and managing customer expectations throughout the projectEducate customers on the reconstruction process when questions arisePerform final walk-through with customerCollect monies due progressively and/or upon completion of jobProfessionally represent on emergency on-call management rotationResponsible for directing, mentoring and training junior level team membersAll other duties or projects as assignedQualifications and Skills:Minimum HSD/GED requiredIICRC WRT, FSRT Certifications a plusRestoration/Construction project management experience preferred: but will trainKnowledge of the insurance industry a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceWorking Knowledge of various construction software programsCareer emphasis on learning and continuing educationEffectively manages under high performance environmentsAbility to lead and develop teamSound planning and organizational skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsVery self-motivated and goal-orientedUnderstanding of workflow procedures and systemsStrong business ethics, integrity, and ability to performAvailability and ability to travel as business needs arise
