They will deliver personal care services and support that help individuals develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living to increase or maintain their level of functioning. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, clean‑up, and food purchasing, while encouraging client participation. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, the Associate will pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider. They will also transport clients to and from the program as needed to engage and provide treatment services. Compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services is required. This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit; wages, benefits, and working conditions are set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending required, paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision and on‑the‑job experience. What You’ll Make $21.42 – $22.07 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $3.00 per hour night shift differential applies during the work hours of 10:00 pm and 8:30 am, provided that at least 2.5 hours of the shift occur within this designated period. Additional 5% language differential offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates. About the Program Pine Ridge is a non‑secure 7‑bed Residential Treatment Facility serving individuals living with a mental illness. The facility offers a therapeutic setting, community living areas for group connection, skills training, and recreation, as well as private space for individual therapy and support. Residents can also enjoy an outdoor area with a large deck, raised garden beds, and lawn. ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. What You’ll Need Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) is preferred. A dedication to the well‑being of each resident and a commitment to helping them complete activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs). Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver’s license from their state of residence or acquire and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and be able to pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical Demands This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may occasionally require using ladders, squatting or kneeling, and performing other physical tasks. You must also complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings that involve physical, hands‑on maneuvers and techniques, including lifting and transferring clients.
