We are seeking a Laser Engraving Specialist/Customer Service Representative with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision work. Your ability to ensure accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship will be key to your success and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Laser Engraving : Operate laser engraving machines to engrave designs and text on various materials, including metals, plastics, acrylics, and crystal. We use Trotec laser systems. We can train you if you have the aptitude to learn if you have not worked with this style of production systems.
• Customer Service: Taking care of customers’ orders in-person, phone and email. Having the willingness to assist customers and taking the opportunity, each time, to build a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship between you and the people we serve.
• Machine Setup & Maintenance : Set up and calibrate laser engraving machines for optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
• Quality Control : Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to customer specifications.
• Collaboration : Work with the customers to ensure design files are prepared and approved so that the final product meets their quality standards.
• Production Efficiency : Maintain production schedules and meet deadlines while ensuring quality is not compromised.

Qualifications :

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with others to meet production goals.
• Ability to read and interpret design files and work orders.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in producing high-quality engravings.
• Troubleshooting skills to resolve issues that may arise.
• Direct Customer Service Experience

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with laser engraving machines, including setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Understanding of engraving materials and techniques (metal, acrylic, glass, etc.).
• Experience working in the graphic design, engraving, or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
