How you'll contribute Facilitates response to a request for services, including the initial response, the assessment, the referral process, the designation of the appropriate level of care, admission into services, and appropriate follow-up activity. Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documents patient symptomology, functioning, and needs, and provides information to MD for LOC determination. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers promptly and courteously. Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA. Maintains all preadmission and admission paperwork with accuracy and completes all pre-certification with insurance companies. Will monitor patient for change of condition and respond accordingly up to and including notification of the physician. RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration. RN will consistently use empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients. In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers: What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required. ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care preferred. Licenses: Must have a current Arizona State License or Compact License with Arizona endorsement. Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
