Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on individual needs and goals, following physician directives. You will be responsible for delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring that treatment programs are functional and effective for patients' return to community activities. Additionally, this role involves educating patients, families, and students, while maintaining compliance with the organizational Code of Conduct and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focusing on patient discharge progress within established timelines.
• Document patient care accurately and timely, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Create and implement a professional development plan, pursuing ongoing education and growth opportunities.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.

Schedule

This position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
