M&E Plant SR HR Manager- Replacement

We’re looking for a strategic, hands‐on SR Human Resources leader to partner closely with the CHRO and site leadership teams . This role is responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy, strengthening organizational capability, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience across two major manufacturing sites.You will lead all aspects of HR including employee relations, organizational development, staffing, training, and workforce planning while driving cultural transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership• Serve as the senior HR partner to the CHRO and site leaders, aligning HR strategy with business goals.• Develop and execute HR plans, programs, and policies that attract, retain, and grow top talent.• Provide strategic consultation to executives and managers on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.• Conduct a full assessment of the HR function within the first 90 days and build a roadmap for an optimized, high‐performing HR organization.Employee Relations & Culture• Lead employee relations programs, ensuring consistent application of policies and a positive, engaging work environment.• Oversee investigations, complaints, corrective action processes, attendance programs, and conflict resolution.• Monitor workforce morale, engagement, and satisfaction; implement initiatives that strengthen culture and retention.• Build strong relationships across the organization to support smooth implementation of corporate initiatives and business changes.HR Operations & Talent Management• Manage HR support for both hourly Production & Maintenance teams and salaried Operations employees.• Coach and counsel managers and HR staff on performance management, compensation, recruitment, investigations, and employee development.• Partner with recruitment, compensation, total rewards, engagement, and training teams to deliver seamless HR support.• Mentor and develop HR Business Partners, building capability and readiness for future leadership roles.Continuous Improvement & Data‐Driven HR• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including the Operating Model and change management strategies.• Use HR analytics and KPIs to guide decisions and measure effectiveness.• Leverage technology—including AI tools—to enhance HR processes and employee experience.• Apply operational excellence principles to streamline HR workflows and improve service delivery.Leadership & Administration• Provide hands‐on leadership across all HR functions at both sites.• Manage HR budgets and ensure cost‐effective operations.• Drive creative, engagement‐focused approaches to improve performance, morale, and the overall employee experience.• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.QualificationsEducation• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Industrial Relations, or related field required.• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.Experience• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with deep expertise in core HR disciplines.• 3–5 years in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.• Experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering‐driven organizations, or companies known for advanced HR practices.• Proven success operating independently in fast‐paced, complex environments.Skills & Competencies• Strong knowledge of HR and labor relations principles, practices, and regulations.• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.• Skilled in conflict management, negotiation, and navigating ambiguity.• Ability to analyze data, prepare comprehensive reports, and use metrics to drive decisions.• Experience with Workday is a plus.• Strong leadership, coaching, and team‐development capabilities.
